The Iowa Cubs are proud to partner with presenting sponsors Autism Society of Iowa and ChildServe to host the first-ever Sensory Friendly Game at the Ballpark on Sunday, June 9. - Wed., March 27th – Maternal Health, Birth Outcomes, and Early Childhood Development: This workshop will focus on the integration of maternal health, birth journey, and early childhood development from an equity perspective. Infant mental health is impacted by epigenetics. The impact of genes and environmental conditions begin in utero and continue throughout the lifespan. Many cognitive and social emotional delays can be linked to pregnancy outcomes. This course will highlight environmental and genetic factors contributing to infant mental health and childhood development.
