The EveryStep Grief & Loss Camp will be back in-person and held on September 10-11th at Pilgrim Heights in Montour, IA and is available for youth age 5+ through adults of any age. The overnight weekend camp will be filled with activities focused on remembrance and healing. Campers are grouped with peers throughout the weekend for an opportunity to connect with others who have experienced loss. ATP Grief Camp Fall 2022
ISU Extension and Outreach is hosting a Virtual Baby Shower in Spanish on August 3rd at 6:30pm! During this baby shower, participants will receive information on nutrition during pregnancy, infant brain development, and resources! Upon completing the baby shower, participants will have baby gifts and resources delivered to them including a backpack, baby thermometer, diapers, wipes, and more. The Iowa State Fair is hosting its first ever Sensory-Friendly Morning at the Fair, presented by Child Serve on August 17th from 8am-12pm! This environment is designed with children and adults with autism and sensory processing disorders in mind with the goal for the morning to enable families with have a member with special needs to visit and enjoy the Fair!
