Summer Sundaze is a relaxing Sunday afternoon concert series featuring local bands, weekly in June and July at the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater. Food can be purchased from food trucks, and lawn games will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at this free, family-friendly event. No pre-registration is required for this event.
Music begins at 5:30pm each night.

The City of Des Moines annual Independence Day parade will be held on Saturday, July 3 at 6:30 PM
The parade will start at Valley West Dr. & Ashworth Rd to Ashworth Rd. to Vine to 16TH St. to Locust St. to 11th to Vine St. to 4th St. End at Maple St.
