Car Seat Training-March

The Safe Babies Court Team, alongside Officer Holly Pickett, will be hosting quarterly car seat trainings throughout 2023. Office Pickett covers everything you need to know from choosing the appropriate car seat for a child, installing the car seat correctly, how to safely strap a child into a car seat and more.

Trainings will all be held virtually, and the Zoom link for all trainings is: https://uiowa.zoom.us/j/99622318339. 

There is no need to register for this training unless you are needing a certificate afterwards as proof of attendance. If you are in need of a certificate, please email Stephanie directly to sign up. The dates for trainings in 2023 are: March 21st, June 13th, September 12th, and December 12th and will all be held from 12-1pm.

Windsor Heights Fall Festival

The all new Windsor Heights Fall Festival is being held September 23rd and 24th! On Friday starting at 1pm, there will be live music, food trucks, bounce houses, petting zoo, and community group booths and Saturday, will be morning events with a pancake breakfast ($5 or $20 for family), WHAMM 5K and yoga!
