Drop by the Youth Department and make a colorful sun catcher with your little one at the Council Bluffs Public Library. For kids ages 5 years old and younger and an adult companion.

Is your family looking for a fun activity during winter break? Do you love animals AND art? Stop by the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art for scavenger hunts in the galleries and see who can find all the hidden animals in the artwork first. Your prize? A goodie bag full of art materials and instructions for at-home animal-themed art projects that adults and children can do together.
Limit one take-home kit per child present. Available while supplies last. Masks are required while inside the building.

This support group provides a place for families of children with varying levels of specialized health care needs to meet, learn, support, share and grow together. The goal is to provide a safe and open-minded environment where families feel comfortable sharing their successes and challenges.
Meetings range from an open discussion format to having guest presenters in to discuss their areas of expertise in the care of children with special needs.
Anyone who is a family member or care provider for a child with special health care needs is welcome.
Event will be held in Tendrils Rooftop Garden or via Google Meet. It will be at 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
Join this webinar to learn about the joys and challenges of grandparents caring for young grandchildren and learn about the new, one-of-a-kind curriculum designed to meet grandparents’ needs. Seven 90-minute workshops provide a chance for grandparents to connect and learn from each other, explore the latest child-rearing advice, and develop strategies for collaborating with their adult children on child care. Each workshop also includes a 30-minute picture book and activity grandparents and grandchildren can enjoy together.

About The Seizure First Aid Certification Training-
The 90-minute Seizure Recognition and First Aid Certification is a formal training offered by the Epilepsy Foundation that teaches people:
* How to recognize signs of a seizure
* How to respond with proper seizure first aid
* When to call for help.
