“Iowa PBS invites families to our Be My Neighbor Day celebration on Sunday, September 20, from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Iowa PBS studios in Johnston. Inspired by Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, this free community event is all about spreading kindness, building connections and celebrating what makes our neighborhoods special.
To support neighbors in need, attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for our food drive held in collaboration with the Food Bank of Iowa.
Friends of Iowa PBS members, please stop by the Iowa PBS tent and pick up a special thank you for your wonderful support.
To help make the day enjoyable for everyone, we’re asking guests to select an arrival time when you register. This helps us space out the crowd and ensure families have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the day.”
