Tail Waggin Readers

“Strengthen your reading skills! Register for 15 minutes of reading aloud and 5 minutes of play with a therapy dog. Your child may bring their own book to read or come a few minutes early to choose a library book. If your child is able, we encourage them to attend this program on their own. Parents are free to wait in the Library. Registration is required. This program is also a great way to introduce children who are hesitant around animals to a trained therapy pet!

*Remember that all animals, even trained therapy pets can get overwhelmed. We expect all readers to be gentle and respectful with their Therapet partner. Handlers know their pets best and may end the reservation at any time for the safety of the pet and child. ”
